Consultations

Whether you're a parent seeking guidance or an educator looking for strategies to support students, our consultations are designed to provide personalized support and expertise. At The Play Society, our consultations are tailored to provide valuable insights, guidance, and recommendations to help children navigate the complexities of speech and language development, tailoring to the child’s unique needs. 

Parent Consultations: To discuss any concerns with language development and empowering parents with knowledge, resources, and strategies to support their child's communication development at home.

Educational Consultations: To assist educators in understanding and addressing the speech and language needs of students, including recommendations for classroom accommodations and interventions. We also offer ongoing support and follow-up to ensure successful outcomes.

COST: $100 for 1-hour session

Screenings

We understand the importance of early identification and intervention in supporting children's communication development. Our specialized screening services offer a proactive approach to identifying potential speech and language concerns, allowing for timely intervention and support.

We assess key areas of communication, including speech sound production, language comprehension, expressive language skills, and social communication abilities.

The screening process is quick and non-invasive, typically lasting 15-20 minutes per child.

Following the screening, we provide immediate feedback to parents or caregivers and offer recommendations for further evaluation or intervention if needed.

COST: Screening cost to be determined with therapist and caregiver considering time and location.

Group Trainings

We recognize the importance of equipping schools and caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to support children's communication development effectively.

Our trainings are designed to empower educators and families with practical information, strategies and resources for nurturing confident communicators.

COST: $100 per person-minimum of 10 participants for a 1-hour training

Evaluation & Treatment

We understand the vital role early intervention plays in nurturing children's communication skills. Our comprehensive evaluation services are tailored to uncover the unique strengths and challenges of each child, paving the way for personalized treatment plans that unlock their full potential and foster confident communication abilities.

Our evaluations encompass a wide range of speech and language domains, including play, articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, and social communication.

We believe in empowering our families with knowledge and insights gained from our evaluations to provide individualized treatment. We provide detailed reports and personalized recommendations, guiding families in making informed decisions about their child's therapy and journey.

COST: $250 Initial Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluation; $200 Re-Evaluation of Speech & Language
